What is the difference between "Document Control Management" and "Completions Management"?
Project Document Management
The process of Tracking, organising and distributing Documentation of a project between all project stakeholders involved.
They track "Documents"
Project Completions Management
The process of Tracking, organising and recording of the state of “completeness” to a pre-defined criteria set by clients and projects in order to meet regulations and standards.
They track "Records" or "Proof of installation"
Documents and records may sound alike but there is a big difference between the two.
Documents are created by planning what needs to be done
Records are created when something is done and written proof of that event.
Documents can be revised and change, where as records don’t (must not) change.
